"Wow, this place was everything we hoped it would be and more. It was more spacious than the pictures reflect. The air conditioning and fans kept us cool on a hot day. The amenities here are excellent and well thought out. There is a supermarket for your needs including feed for the animals, a great restaurant (Bos) within a 5 minute drive from the property. The experience here was priceless. We spent most of our time on the patio which was very comfortable and the animal interaction was unbelievable: hand feeding Zebras, Kudus, Wildebeest, and other bucks/impalas. Also had encounters with a giraffe, genet, mongoose, and even a water monitor passing through the yard. Paul is personable, ease to communicate with, met us for a tour, and shared great stories. We highly recommend renting from Paul and hope to again! We are so glad we ended our Kruger trip with our last days in this peaceful and welcoming home." - John & Dawn, USA

Disregard any advice that tells you the true experience is in staying at the camps in Kruger, or at the 5-star resorts. “Absolute paradise. We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have imagined a better experience anywhere else. The place was beautifully designed and immaculately clean. The serene landscape was perfect for a relaxing getaway. "Terrapin seems small in the pictures but the abundant amount of natural light coming in from all directions makes it spacious and cosy. The unit is quite private despite the lack of physical boundaries with the neighbourhood (fences or walls) but nature plays a big role in covering up the space with a dense native vegetation. Attention to detail and high quality fixtures/appliances adds up to the luxurious feel and the hosts ensure enough information is provided upon arrival. Would I ever return?
